Hello Liz, what a great idea to speak about the workshop from October! First, it is great to hear your voice again :)! The podcast has just afforded me yet another memory from our fantastic learning and sharing experience. What an amazing week it was ! You lit the fire of inspiration under me once again today. All my best to you and yours. Hope to see you soon 🙂 Suzanne
Hi Suzanne! Meeting you at the Advanced Distillation Workshop was so much fun and I love looking at the photographs of your distillation set up on social media. Our week at Bozarth really was amazing and I appreciate that you took the time to listen to my podcast and relive the fun experience. Hope to see you again soon, too! Liz
Hi Liz, after a busy day I sat down with you in my living room to listen to episode 29, thank you. What came through to me was your deep abiding love for this Aromatic world in which you live and work. Your joy at participating at Ann’s event was contagious. Having taken your wonderful, informative, and practical, ” Hydrosols for Health” class I can only imagine the new depth of knowledge and experience which you will bring to subsequent classes!!!
Hi Sally, I can’t tell you how happy your comment made me! Indeed, I am passionate about hydrosols and just can’t seem to get enough learning about them, which I’m delighted to share with my podcast listeners. I’m so happy that you are one of them! Liz
Love, loved, loved your podcast…you were wonderful to share your experiences. I looked up all your references to the people with whom you attended and got so much exciting info from the sites. It’s just so good to know what’s going on in the rest of the aromatherapy world. Thank you for all your hard work with the Podcasts – they are much appreciated.
Hi Kathleen! I’m so happy that you enjoy the podcast and really appreciate your kind words, they made my day! Liz
Liz I think this was the podcast where you mentioned using hydrosols in a cpap machine – I’d LOVE to hear more, since my husband uses one! Also, I’m thinking about visiting one or two hydrosol distilleries in Washington State, since I live there now! I’m so excited about hydrosols – I first learned about them through the Aromahead Certification Program and have tried out several now! I love that there is something gentle that can help my cat’s occasional skin issues. Have you heard of anyone using hydrosols for ear infections? 🙂
Hi Jennifer! He can add just a small amount into the water well of the cpap. About 1 teaspoon. I will be doing a hydrosol class here in Pennsylvania in June and August if you’d like to join us – I’d love that! https://aromaticwisdominstitute.com/our-classes/hydrosols/
As far as ear infections (I assume you mean for cats) you can mix a little organic aloe vera gel with 1/2 teaspoon of helichrysum hydrosol to clean the cats ear. They won’t like it, but it may help. I used to address my pug’s ear infections that way and it was very effective. Liz
Liz, it would be wonderful to take your hydrosol class! Unfortunately It’s just too far away for me, which is why I’m grateful for the information you share online! ☺️
Hello
I’d love to attend one of the workshops on distillation of essential oils next year.
Can you please provide information about upcoming events.?
