WITM Chamomile Inflamation

What’s in the Mix? Blending Ideas and Prompts is a weekly exercise designed to spark your imagination and get your creative juices flowing. Each week you’ll find a question, a suggestion or a prompt that will help you identify where you’re stuck, where you are flowing and where you need more education. Mostly, prompts are just fun!

About This Week’s Prompt: This week I’m testing your knowledge of not only an essential oil’s therapeutic properties, but also your knowledge of their latin names. To help, here are links to Chamaemelum nobile and Matricaria chamomilla.

I receive lots of questions about blending, and I love it! It tells me that people understand the potency of essential oils and that they need to be used with care and respect. There can be uncomfortable, even dangerous, consequences when used incorrectly.

Share your answer in the comment section below! Let’s teach and inspire each other! By putting your questions and comments in the Comments sections below you might give someone a great idea for a listing blend, and someone might give YOU a great idea. Who knows, maybe you’ll become inspired to create a new product or an entire product line from something that is sparked by this exercise.

I created it for myself and realized so many other aromatherapists could use such a book. With over 150 pages to name, rate, make detailed notes, list out number of drops used and carrier oils used in your recipes, this book is the perfect place to keep them safe all in one, easy to use space. It makes a great gift with the holiday season, too!
